CELLO LESSONS
Each cello student requires different inspiration, approach and motivation.
Learning music engages the mind intellectually and creatively, while providing enjoyment, a sense of accomplishment and a skill for life. My lessons incorporate your unique needs and skills to let you aim for your individual goals.
I focus on building a foundation that encompasses all aspects of music learning and appreciation, enabling every student, from ages 7 to 70, to achieve their own personal excellence.
In the past 20 years, I have taught students ranging from 5 years, to teenagers, university students, adult learners and retirees. I have a Bachelor of Music from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music (cello), an A.Mus.A diploma (piano) and extensive international performance experience.
I am a professional member of the Ontario Regional Music Teacher's Association - regularly participating in workshops and events to engage with current pedagogical ideas. I am committed to giving my students the best, and most informed learning experience.
